MOVIE TRAILER"RIGHTEOUS KILL"FEATURING 50 CENT, ROBERT DE NIRO, AL PACINO

Black Tv reports "Academy Award® winners Robert De Niro (Raging Bull, GoodFellas) and Al Pacino (Scarface, the Godfather trilogy) star as a pair of veteran New York City police detectives on the trail of a vigilante serial killer in the adrenaline-fueled psychological thriller Righteous Kill. An intricately plotted mystery that will keep audiences guessing until the dramatic ending, Righteous Kill also features hip-hop superstar Curtis Jackson (Get Rich or Die Tryin'), Carla Gugino (Night at the Museum), John Leguizamo (Moulin Rouge!) and Donnie Wahlberg (The Sixth Sense). Veteran stage actor Brian Dennehy ("Death of a Salesman") joins Trilby Glover ("The Starter Wife"), and Rob Dyrdek of MTV's hit show "Rob & Big" makes a cameo appearance. The film is directed by Jon Avnet (Fried Green Tomatoes, Red Corner) and written by Russell Gewirtz (Inside Man). The cinematographer is Denis Lenoir, ASC, AFC ("Uprising"). Production designer is Emmy®-nominated Tracey Gallacher ("The Starter Wife"), costume designer is Debra McGuire (Superbad) and editor is Paul Hirsch (Ray). The movie is produced by Avi Lerner and Boaz Davidson of Millennium/Nu Image Films with Randall Emmett, Daniel M. Rosenberg, Alexandra Milchan, Rob Cowan and Lati Grobman. Danny Dimbort, Trevor Short and George Furla are executive producers with Marsha Oglesby serving as co-producer. A serial murderer walks the streets of Manhattan, targeting violent felons who have fallen through the cracks of the judicial system. All the victims are suspected criminals whose bodies are found accompanied by a four line poem justifying the killing. The killer's mission is to do what the cops can't do on their own—take the bad guys off the streets for good. When a notorious pimp becomes one of the killer's victims, highly decorated detectives Turk (Robert De Niro) and Rooster (Al Pacino) are called in to investigate. This case could easily be the biggest one in their 30 years on the force. With the unwitting help of a local drug dealer (played by Curtis Jackson) the detectives follow what few clues they have, but their search soon turns inward, eventually leading them full circle as they realize the killer may be one of their own."

  1. I'm pretty excited to see Pacino and DeNiro acting together in a movie for the first time (Godfather II doesn't count, since they weren't in any of the same scenes. And I loved Carla Gugino from Sin City....
